Danwood

Company History

In 2011 The Danwood Group is celebrating its 40th year in business. Established in 1971 in Lincoln, England the Group has built its success on two core values: product independence and customer-centricity. We have grown up during the technology revolution. From the large, noisy print and fax machines of yesteryear; to today's compact, multifunctional devices, intelligent systems and wireless technology.

Danwood spread its wings into the United States in 2006 with the creation of Danwood America based in Tampa, Florida and in June 2010 our position in the US was strengthened considerably with the purchase of several central Florida businesses.

In June 2010 Corporate HQ was moved to Orlando Florida.

Colin Daniels, Chairman of The Danwood Group, commented:

"This is an exciting acquisition for both Danwood America and the Group. We have seen strong and consistent growth in the UK over the last decade and our ambitions here are well known and remain undiminished. However we felt the time and opportunity was right to grow our overseas operations in the USA and we look forward to the future. We have found a lot in common between service excellence and customer care held in equally high regard along with a strong mutual drive towards managed print services and the significant benefits this can bring to our clients. We look forward to replicating the levels of success we enjoy in the UK, in the years to come."

Today Danwood America is now well established, supporting companies and organizations large and small via our network offices combining our specialist expertise with the personal touch.
